Another Successful Golf Classic in the Books!

Published by Zoe Campbell on

On Monday, October 1st, over 90 golfers convened at the Charles River Country Club in Newton Centre for Triangle, Inc.’s 26th Annual Golf Tournament. Despite the slightly soggy conditions, golfers, Triangle program participants, staff, and community partners came together to raise money and enjoy the beautiful course. While the weather wasn’t perfect, the company was great, and the day was a massive success!

The tournament raised $78,000 to support Triangle’s programs throughout eastern Massachusetts. These funds will go directly toward the expansion and improvement of our innovative programs. This means more job training and placement services, improved safety and self-advocacy initiatives, and expanded community leadership and engagement programs.

In its early days, Triangle, Inc. represented a place for those who did not feel appreciated or comfortable in our communities to be welcomed and served alongside their peers. Nearly a half-century later, we are now an entry point into the community for our participants to gain competitive employment, establish residency, and learn effective self-advocacy skills.  With continued partnership and support from the community, we look forward to expanding Triangle, Inc.’s influence and deepening our impact on those we serve.

This event wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our sponsors. In addition, we were lucky to have a wide selection of fantastic raffle items donated by numerous local businesses. Triangle is fortunate to be surrounded by such wonderful partners that continue to support us.
