Triangle, Inc. offers innovative and comprehensive programs that provide greater opportunities for employment, empowerment, independence, and community inclusion for people with disabilities. Since our founding in 1971, our services have been adapted to meet the unique needs and ambitions of each individual we serve.
Community-Based Day Services & Supported Employment
Triangle, Inc. operates three day services programs in Malden, Randolph, and Salem. These programs provide group supported employment, individual supported employment, and community-based day services (CBDS) to adults and students with disabilities in partnership with the Department of Developmental Services and local school districts. Triangle, Inc.’s day services place a strong emphasis on community-based employment, giving all participants an opportunity to earn a paycheck.
Prism Program
Triangle’s Prism Program offers a wide variety of employment, independent living, peer connections, and social skills programs for autistic young adults. It features customized and flexible services that meet each person’s unique advancement goals with their input helping to shape daily services.
Residential Services
The organization operates nine residential homes in Metro North and North Shore communities that provide loving, caring, and nurturing support to 43 individuals. Triangle, Inc. has decades of experience in building a family atmosphere in each home, while providing each person with individualized opportunities to explore their own interests and activities in the community.
Workforce Development & Career Services
Triangle, Inc. works with individual job seekers and inclusive employers to create win-win job placements throughout eastern Massachusetts. The organization’s employment specialists are experts in providing skills and interest assessments, job search assistance, interview prep and coaching, and, once placed, ongoing employment supports to both youth and adults. The organization also offers credential training programs for individuals entering competitive growth industries.
Triangle Abuse Prevention & Safety (TAPS)
Triangle Abuse Prevention & Safety (TAPS) provides a variety of abuse prevention and empowerment programs to both students and adults with disabilities. TAPS works to prevent violence and abuse by giving people with disabilities the tools to protect themselves and foster safe and healthy relationships. This program is one of the only evidence-based abuse prevention programs in the United States that specifically teaches people with disabilities personal safety skills and how to recognize abuse.
Empowering People for Inclusive Communities (EPIC)
EPIC is the only service learning program for youth with disabilities in New England. This program brings together cohorts of young leaders to perform monthly community service projects while honing their leadership skills. Over the course of the year, EPIC Service Warriors demonstrate that youth with disabilities are powerful agents for change in their communities.
Clinical Supports
Triangle, Inc. offers best-in-class clinical supports to individuals of all ages and needs who participate in our adult day services or residential programming across the state of Massachusetts. Triangle’s team of clinicians and abuse prevention specialists provide various programs that ensure participants receive effective and person-centered services while being empowered to live safe and fully engaged lives in their local communities. Positive Behavioral Supports form the foundation of our teaching skills and are a core method in addressing challenging behaviors.
