Triangle, Inc.’s TriBucks Program

Published by Ava Pizziferri on

Over the past several years, Triangle has implemented its TriBucks Program across all of our day services sites. Throughout the day, participants can earn tokens, known as TriBucks, for engaging in positive behaviors such as flexibility, waiting, compromise, good deeds, positive social comments, and appropriate interactions.

The TriBucks Program was created by Triangle’s Clinical Team as part of the organization’s commitment to Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) as it teaches and encourages appropriate behaviors through the use of a positive reinforcement. By using a random reward schedule throughout the day, participants are encouraged to learn and make positive behaviors common practice.

Triangle participants from our Day Services sites in Malden (Broadway site), Salem and Randolph were recently able to cash in their TriBucks to spend part of their day with Corey, Chief of Workforce Initiatives, and Drew, Chief Program Officer. In addition, “Coffee With Corey” and “Coffee with Drew” sessions, participants can also choose movie screenings or purchase items like gift cards, drinks, Triangle tchotchkes, and snacks.
