Announcing Our 50th Anniversary Celebration Honorees
We are just under one month away from Triangle’s 50th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, April 28th. This year’s event will return to JFK Library and Museum for our first in-person awards ceremony and fundraiser since 2019. On this landmark year in our organization’s history, we are thrilled to celebrate the accomplishments of the thousands of Triangle participants who have been a part of our community since the 1970s, while also looking forward to highlighting exciting new programs that will allow our organization to grow, evolve, and thrive in the decades to come.
As part of the event, we will be presenting three major awards that reflect the past, present, and future of Triangle.
The 50th Anniversary Founders Award will be presented to Dr. Philip Conti. As one of the founders of the organization, Dr. Conti was instrumental in creating an empowering, safe, and loving community in the “Triangle” of Everett, Malden, and Medford in the early 1970s. He remained involved with the organization for many decades and helped nurture the growth and evolution of Triangle programs. Triangle is thrilled to honor his role in shaping our legacy.
The Stan Black Legacy Partner Award will be presented to The TJX Companies. As a parent company to many stores, including TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Home Goods, and Sierra, the company has remained an active supporter of Triangle’s mission for more than three decades. By offering inclusive employment opportunities in their stores, professional development opportunities for students, 25 years of service to Triangle’s Board of Directors, and philanthropic support for Triangle’s programs, TJX has remained Triangle’s most consistent, loyal, and generous corporate partners. We are thrilled to honor them with this award.
As many longtime Celebration attendees know, the Ability Award is the evening’s final presentation. Because this year is so special, we are taking a unique approach to this year’s Ability Award! We hope you’ll join us to help to see what we have in store!
