Announcing New Format for Triangle’s 2020 Golf Classic
The Triangle Golf Classic will be taking place on Monday, September 28th. For the fourth year in a row, we will be playing at the Charles River Country Club, one of the top courses in greater Boston. More information can be found on our event page.
Due to the current environment and to provide all golfers with a safe and flexible experience, we are instituting the following changes to this year’s tournament:
- All registration and purchases of passport packages will be done online ahead of the event – golfers simply head to their carts once they arrive and everything will be waiting on the carts
- Tee-times will be used instead of shotgun start to limit the number of golfers gathered at the beginning of the tournament. Practice facilities will be available for golfers who would like to arrive early
- Our end-of-tournament reception will take place at the outdoor pavilion and each foursome will have a pre-assigned table to enjoy their boxed dinner when coming off the course. Beverages will be available at the bar and the club will provide servers. If any golfer would prefer to forego this part of the event, the meal will be available to take away.
- Triangle will be getting creative with this year’s fundraising appeal. We will be highlighting our programs throughout the course on hole signs and stationing staff members strategically between holes. Every year, we are blown away by the generosity of our golfers – we can’t wait to tell you more about how our organization has continued to meet its mission throughout the pandemic and highlight some of the heroes of our organization
