Employment Partner Spotlight: Alltown Convenience!

Published by Zoe Campbell on

This is the third post in our month-long series highlighting some of our most valuable employment partners in honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. For our third feature, Triangle, Inc.’s loyal partner Alltown Convenience is in the spotlight!

Alltown Convenience is another major company that has proven its dedication to hiring people of all abilities. Headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, the chain of convenience stores operates approximately 120 stores across the Northeast of the United States. A successful relationship with Triangle has blossomed in both the Saugus and Stoughton locations, proving the company’s dedication to forming local partnerships. The connection with Alltown began with one program participant working in the store, and has continued to grow as all parties have seen the numerous benefits. This mutually beneficial relationship has the potential to continue to grow as more program participants work towards their goals of employment.

The Triangle individuals employed by Alltown work hard stocking and cleaning the convenience store and performing any other necessary duties. In Stoughton, a Triangle program participant from our Randolph location works with support for three hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The store manager is helpful and kind, and always willing to offer advice or assistance with a task. For Triangle’s program participants, opportunities to work in a range of different supportive environments are valuable for growing confidence and expanding future opportunities. Welcoming and accepting workplaces such as Alltown are imperative to current and future success.

Thank you for reading this year’s Employment Partner Spotlight series in honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month! There are many barriers to employment for people with disabilities, making inclusive partners such as Burlington stores, Chicken & Rice Guys, Alltown Convenience stores, and more than 100 other partners vital to Triangle as it strives to meet its mission. As an organization founded by business leaders, Triangle has always understood the importance of these partnerships and we are grateful for everything they do!
