National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

Did you know that March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month? Every year, the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD) creates a social media campaign that showcases the many ways in which people with and without disabilities can come together to form a better, more inclusive community. This year’s theme is Worlds Imagined, and they are encouraging people to raise awareness about the ever-changing opportunities for inclusion of people with developmental disabilities. Read more…

Exploring the Workforce: A New Opportunity for Students

Thanks to funding from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), Triangle is offering a workshop series to students with disabilities to participate in job exploration, skill building, and employment training sessions. The Exploring the Workforce workshop series will provide youth-oriented programs that provide students with a variety of sessions that give them skills needed to be ready for employment before they age into adulthood.
