Beach:Ability 2021 Was a Success!

Published by Kassi Soulard on

We teamed up with Save the Harbor / Save the Bay and the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Universal Access Program this weekend to host Beach:Ability, and it was a huge success!

Supported by a generous grant from Save the Harbor/Save the Bay’s Better Beaches program, over 125 people came together at Constitution Beach for a fun-filled day of accessible fun. With the support of the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Universal Access Program, sand and floating wheelchairs were available so that guests of all abilities could enjoy all that the beach has to offer.

The goal of this free event was to highlight that our beaches are a resource for our entire community, so take a look at the photos below to see how that goal was met!
