We Had Fun in the Sun at Beach:Ability 2022!
Supported by a generous grant from Save the Harbor / Save the Bay’s Better Beaches program, Triangle held its annual Beach:Ability event on July 30th. More than 170 people came together at Constitution Beach for a fun-filled day of accessible fun. With the support of the Piers Park Sailing and Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Universal Access Program, kayaks and floating wheelchairs were available so that guests of all abilities could enjoy all that the beach has to offer.
The goal of this free event was to highlight that our beaches are a resource for our entire community, so take a look at the photos below to see how that goal was met!
