Building an Exciting Future on a Strong Foundation

After serving nearly 2,000 individuals with disabilities in 2022, Triangle, Inc. seeks to expand its impact by 50% over the next five years.

Triangle, Inc. 2023-2027 Strategic Plan

As we kick off our end of year series of reflections on each of Triangle’s programs, we are also excited to announce the launch of our Five-Year Strategic Growth Plan.  This plan will increase our impact by 50% by the end of the year 2027, allowing us to serve an additional 1,000 individuals with disabilities. We will accomplish this by investing in our current programs and sites, bringing them to full capacity, enriching them with new resources, and providing our hardworking staff with increased professional development. We will also create new ways of meeting the emerging and/or underserved needs with programs that build on our existing foundation but serve a broader spectrum of people with disabilities. One such project, the Prism Program, exemplifies these efforts by combining Triangle, Inc.’s best-in-class employment programs and clinical supports to create a whole new, unique model that better meets the needs of autistic young adults.

Triangle’s Five-Year Strategic Growth Plan was developed with our friends at Community Action Partners over a ten-month period in 2021-22. A group of six volunteer consultants engaged dozens of Triangle stakeholders, including staff members, families, state-funding partners, peer agencies, and more. In addition to defining the “secret sauce” of each of our programs, they analyzed what lies ahead for disability services so that we can better understand how to serve future generations. The resulting plan was presented to and enthusiastically approved by the Triangle, Inc. Board of Directors in June 2022. One Triangle parent advocate recently said, “I admire this plan for its restraint as much as its ambition. The plan focuses on what you do best and how to make it available to more people who need it.”

While we are very excited about what lies ahead, we will also be taking the time to look back on our successes in 2022 throughout December.  We are lucky to have so many partnerships to highlight, success stories to celebrate, and innovations to share. We thank you for being a part of our extended Triangle family.
