Celebrate: Triangle, Inc.’s Annual Awards Ceremony and Fundraiser is a few weeks away on Wednesday, April 29. This year, the event will be hosted at a new venue, the Regattabar at the Charles Hotel and we hope to see you there! Click here to register today.

Triangle’s 2026 Public Official of the Year will be presented to Representative Aaron Michlewitz (Suffolk 3rd), Chair of the House Committee on Ways & Means. This award is in recognition of Rep. Michlewitz’s support of Triangle and all state disability services agencies as a key priority in the Commonwealth’s annual budget process. His leadership, particularly in the aftermath of the pandemic, ensured that rates for providers of day, residential, and workforce development programming for people with disabilities kept pace with increasing costs and rising demand from the community. This bedrock funding allows Triangle and peers to continue to evolve and innovate through the creation of new, modern service models aimed at younger members of the disability community. This includes his support of Triangle DESE earmark funding that has reached more than 500 students with disabilities with employment-focused programming since its inception in 2018. This includes more than 100 Boston Public School students in Rep. Michlewitz’s home district.

We look forward to presenting this award at Celebrate: Triangle, Inc.’s Annual Awards Ceremony & Fundraiser, on Wednesday, April 29th at the Regattabar at the Charles Hotel. In addition to Rep. Michlewitz’s, Triangle will also be presenting awards to Michael McCurdy, Chief Banking Officer at Beacon Financial Corporation, the Association for Autism and Neurodiversity (AANE), and the Achievement Award to be presented to a Triangle program participant.
