We are pleased to announce the presentation of the 2026 Carmella Gregorie Disability Advocate Award to the Association for Autism and Neurodiversity (AANE)

For 30 years, AANE has worked to ensure that Autistic and Neurodivergent people are understood, respected, and supported in building meaningful, connected lives. At the heart of AANE’s work is a simple but powerful belief: every person deserves dignity, belonging, and the opportunity to pursue their own goals.

AANE’s commitment to person-centered, inclusive support has helped influence how services are designed across Massachusetts. Triangle partnered with AANE in developing the Prism Program, a day services model created specifically to meet the needs of Autistic young adults. Today, Prism serves nearly 80 young adults in an environment that supports autonomy, friendship, and growth. Over the past two years, Triangle has also collaborated with AANE to offer Triangle Abuse Prevention & Safety (TAPS) courses to AANE participants, strengthening skills and confidence in navigating the broader community.

Beyond direct services, AANE is a widely trusted educational and community resource, with more than 1.4 million annual website page views and a robust online library serving Autistic and Neurodivergent individuals, families, and professionals. Through its programs, partnerships, and leadership, AANE continues to raise expectations for inclusion and responsive support throughout Massachusetts and beyond.

We are honored to present the Carmella Gregorie Disability Advocate of the Year Award to AANE in recognition of its enduring commitment to dignity, partnership, and meaningful opportunity for Autistic and Neurodivergent people. We thank them for partnering with Triangle while developing the Prism Program and the opportunity to collaborate with them to offer TAPS courses to AANE participants! We are so excited to honor them and hope to see you at the event!
