Triangle’s Virtual Spirit Awards

Every year, the Triangle community comes together for our annual Spirit Awards to celebrate the many accomplishments of our participants, staff, and community partners. With a community that is spread out across Salem, Randolph, Malden, and our nine residential homes, this event has always provided a wonderful opportunity for Triangle staff members, program participants, and community members to gather in the same place for good food, games, and fun.

Unfortunately, gathering together was not possible in 2020 due to COVID-19, and we were forced to cancel the event. Luckily, with the help of technology and a positive attitude, the Triangle team was able to host a virtual event in December in order to recognize staff members who went above and beyond during an unprecedented year. Six dedicated staff members received Spirt Awards to commemorate their tireless work.

One Spirit Award Winner, Diane, a longtime residential manager, announced that she is retiring after 16 years at Triangle. The Spirit Awards presentation included a photo from her residents sharing how much they’ll miss her, and many staff members and program participants shared the same sentiment. It was a wonderful opportunity to share a moment of appreciation for an incredible leader!

This year’s virtual Spirit Awards Ceremony provided an ideal opportunity for the Triangle family to come together and celebrate our hardworking staff members. We look forward to celebrating together in person again in the future!
