Announcing our Move!

Published by Zoe Campbell on

As many of you may be aware, Triangle, Inc. has been searching for a new Malden location in this great city to replace our longtime headquarters and programming space on Pearl Street in order to better accommodate the needs of the participants attending programming at this site and the agency as a whole. I’m happy to report that our long search was recently completed after signing a lease to move to 450 Broadway St. in Malden.

This new space will be a bright, safe, and nurturing environment for us to continue to serve program participants, and will be equipped with new computers, office equipment, and furniture. After working with the Department of Developmental Services, it will be in 100% compliance with all accessibility standards that meet the diverse needs of our entire community. This site will also allow Triangle, Inc. to grow in the future so that we can diversify our services and expand the number of individuals we serve.

“I was thrilled we were able to assist Triangle in finding this location,” said Mayor of Malden Gary Christenson. “We knew finding them the perfect new home was vitally important because of their invaluable contributions to our city. We congratulate them as they continue to ensure that all residents make the most of their abilities.”

We anticipate that this move will take place during the second half of 2021, pending any unforeseen consequences of the ongoing pandemic. We are currently in the design phase with renovation happening in the coming months. This will be the first of several updates. Please keep an eye out for future notes with more details on the move and an invite to visit the space prior to its opening. We also anticipate a public Open House for partners, Triangle board members, elected officials, and our entire community as permitted by the ongoing pandemic later in 2021.

In the words of Triangle CEO, Coleman Nee, “For 50 years, Triangle has been at the forefront of serving the disability community and promoting inclusion in our society.  Our new location at 450 Broadway represents not only a more suitable and accessible location to provide our services, but a unique opportunity to expand and evolve our innovative programming and offerings to meet the changing needs of our participants today and in the future.  Additionally, we are proud that we will continue to call the great City of Malden our home and we thank Mayor Christiansen and his administration for their support and assistance in helping us to relocate and serve this community.”
