Triangle, Inc. offers innovative and comprehensive programs that provide greater opportunities for employment, empowerment, independence, and community inclusion for people with disabilities. Our Salem office provides services to students and adults from communities throughout the North Shore, as well as a Testing Center.
Adult Day Services
Our Salem location provides group supported employment, individual supported employment, and community-based day services (CBDS) to adults and students with disabilities in partnership with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). Triangle, Inc.’s day services place a strong emphasis on community-based employment, giving all participants an opportunity to earn a paycheck.
School to Career Day Services
Triangle’s School to Career program provides employment-focused day programs in partnership with local school districts that directly address barriers to employment faced by individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The program provides skill building, community-based supported employment opportunities, and job placement services to students. The School to Career program is unique in that students can stay in the program as they age out of school-funded services, which avoids disrupting individuals’ progress as they work toward their long-term career goals.
Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)
Triangle, Inc. is a contracted provider of Pre-ETS services through the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC). This program emphasizes career awareness, exploration, and preparation to equip young people with the skills needed for success in their future careers. These sessions are offered in partnership with local school districts throughout the North Shore through the Salem MRC office.
Workforce Development & Career Services
Triangle, Inc.’s Workforce Development team works with individual job seekers and inclusive employers to create win-win job placements throughout the North Shore. The organization’s employment specialists are experts in providing skills and interest assessments, job search assistance, interview prep and coaching, and, once placed, ongoing employment supports to both youth and adults. The organization also offers credential training programs for individuals entering competitive growth industries.
NEW! Triangle, Inc.’s Testing Center
Triangle, Inc. has received emergency authorization to open its newly created Testing Centers in our Malden (at our new Workforce Development location on Pleasant Street) and Salem locations. These two test centers have been approved to provide emergency testing services during the ongoing pandemic. Each testing terminal is separated by plexiglas and spaced to ensure the safety of each test taker. Each computer will be thoroughly cleaned after every test is completed. While these test centers will eventually have capacity to offer a wide variety of tests, we will open by offering HiSET and NCCT testing. In addition to having an emergency test center designation, both Triangle Test Centers can accommodate a wide range of test takers with disabilities. Click here for more information.
