Triangle, Inc.’s Family of Residential Care Workers

Published by TJ Scalese on

In the lead up to Giving Tuesday on November 28th, Triangle’s blog will feature a series of posts illustrating the impact of our Residential Services department and how your support of this year’s #supportahomenotahouse fundraising campaign will help this program continue to have a transformative impact on our residents. This first post is a feature on our dedicated staff members

Triangle, Inc. has 10 residential homes that cater day in and day out to the current group of 47 residents. The tireless dedication and hard work of over 50 residential care workers is the focus of this week’s Giving Tuesday post.

At this year’s Spirit Awards, three residential staff members were honored with awards that highlighted their dedication to Triangle residents. Carol, Anne, and Mirlande are hardworking members of the residential services team who provide unwavering support and who build meaningful connections with the residents in their homes, ensuring that they always have someone to lean on and lift them up.

These three staffers exemplify the best of Triangle’s Residential Services program. Julia Muthoni, the Director of Residential Services, says that “Triangle is like a family,” where support and commitment are paramount. “If you fall, you have something to lean back on, to uplift you in every way.” This is the essence of Triangle’s Residential Services.

Our Residential Services team works diligently every day to build not just a house, but a home for our residents. Just as family members constantly support and care for one another, our they go above and beyond what is expected of them to create a warm and nurturing environment for our residents. Our residents and staff members come together every day to cook, watch tv, play games, go on family outings, and spend their days enjoying life and each other’s company. Our residents aren’t just occupants, our homes aren’t just houses; we are one big family in every way, shape, and form.

Our residential care workers workday in and day out to provide the best experiences for our residents. As we lead up to Giving Tuesday on November 28, please consider clicking here to donate to our Giving Tuesday campaign.
